Lagos - A Nigerian pastor and his brother, who run the Christ Freedom
Ministries International church in Zambia, have been arrested for raping
a minor, The Daily Post reports.
The pastor, Andrew Ejimadu, who along with his brother Cleopas, were
the co-founders of the church, were now facing charges of rape of the
minor, whose identity was withheld.
According to Pulse, Nigerian police deputy spokesperson Hamoonga Rae said in a video clip that the two suspects would be brought to justice.
"We
will like to confirm that today, we have formerly arrested the child
rapists who are Nigerian brothers in the state for allegedly having
defiled a named female juvenile. They were arrested by the Zambian
police in Lusaka for sexually defiling the little girl," Rae was quoted
as saying.
The incident occurred between January 28, 2015, and December 31, 2015.
The two brothers were charged under Section 138 of the Penal Code of the Laws of Zambia.
